Questions that Matter with Eli Steele

Blood and Iron: Part One by [Steele, Eli]

I asked the questions that matter of Eli Steele! But first, the book:

Now we ask:

Welcome to our party, Eli! What is the hardest part of being an author?

Absolutely marketing. Writing is a release for me, and I love to see a story unfold or take a turn that I didn’t expect (I’m a pantster, meaning I don’t plot out my stories that much). Getting to know my characters is exciting, but getting out there and hawking the story? Not so much…

We are with you on that one! Name the top five things you take with you during a zombie outbreak.

Ruger, Knife, Lighter, Kid, Wife 😉

I always figure the kids play enough video games they should be naturals at that…What was the last movie, TV show, or book that made you cry or tear up?

The trailer for the upcoming Mr. Rogers movie. Totally teared up. He was such a genuinely caring person.

Tom Hanks can play just about anyone and make me tear up! What is your motto?

Keep smiling and they’ll never see you coming…

Love it! What would you tell your younger self?

Just be kind to people. Don’t be so quick to react.

We all need to calm down! What’s the most marvelous thing you have ever seen with your own eyes?

The first time I saw our son, hands down.

Miracles, all of them! Coffee or tea? Iced or hot?

Cold-brewed, on ice, with a splash of sparkling water. Trust me, try it.

That is a new one, definitely, but we’ll take your advice! Thank you, Eli, for joining us today! Support Eli by checking out the links below! Then smile wide and read another interview next Friday!

Questions that Matter with Anne Schlea

Sovereign (Retribution Book 3) by [Schlea, Anne]

I asked the questions that matter of Anne Schlea! But first, the book:

On we go!

Welcome, Anne! What is the weirdest scar you have and how did you get it?

Vampire bite.  There was this club, this guy, things got a little out of hand, now I’ve got this great scar on my shoulder.  Oh, you wanted a real answer?  I have two heart shaped scars on my ankle from a spider bite.  Non-nuclear, boring, regular spider.

Ah, man! I never get spidey powers either! Speaking of Spiderman, what superpower would you like to have for a day?

I’d have the power to compel anyone within 1,000 miles to go buy my latest book and love it.

Why has no one else thought of this one before?!! As long as I don’t have to get any where near a spider to get it…Diamonds or pearls?

Diamonds. They’re hard, and solid, and sparkle. Pearls come from slimy creatures that live on the bottom of the ocean.

No animals were harmed for this answer! If you were in a circus, what would your job be?

Ringmaster, of course!

Of course! Do you believe in aliens?

I write about vampires, valkyrie, maji, witches, fae, and other bad things that go bump in the night. We do not talk about aliens or zombies. Ever.

*zips lips closed*  Never trust a person who doesn’t like….

Star Wars.  Seriously, how can you be human and not appreciate Star Wars.  Han Solo – best hero of all time.

I would never argue against Han Solo! Last, but so not least, which Harry Potter character are you?

Bellatrix LeStrange. I’m really secretly a good guy who can do bad things to get to the right ending.

A mysterious answer! Thank you, Anne, for joining this quirky squad! Support Anne by checking out the links below. Then, hop into the millennium falcon with us and fly on to another author!
